Originally from Prince George’s County, Maryland, Becky Akinyode, the stylist and creative consultant, now resides in New York City. A Nigerian-American whose practice is deeply influenced by the many cultures she grew up around, Akinyode spent years in corporate America before pursuing her dream of working in the fashion industry. She approaches her styling assignments with integrity and discipline, creating beautiful imagery that pushes against societal norms. Her work has appeared in various publications, including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, T magazine, i-D, and Dazed magazine. She has collaborated with photographers such as Elliott Jerome Brown Jr., Rahim Fortune, Richard Kern, Shaniqwa Jarvis, Nick Sethi, Zora Sicher, and Torso Solutions. Her commercial clients include Glossier, Nike, Maybelline, Puma, and Ray-Ban.
